Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN) Technical Specialist

Location: Harrisburg, Pa.
Salary range: Full-time $35,500 –39,650

 

The Technical Specialist’s primary responsibility is to provide information and referral assistance to callers of the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network helplines which includes information concerning adoption, foster care and other permanency/post permanency issues. Additional responsibilities include completion of projects, surveys and other duties relating to resource families as assigned by the Office of Children Youth and Families and/or the Prime Contractor for the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network.

ESL Technical Assistance Coordinator

Location: Camp Hill, Pa.
Salary range: Full-time $56,100 – 63,240

 

The ESL Technical Assistance Coordinator has primary responsibility for the provision of technical assistance and training to content teachers, administrators, or ESL coordinators and/or ESL teachers of local school districts, Charter Schools and Career Technical Centers (CTCs), with primary focus on priority schools and those Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) in Title III Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO) improvement. Additional job responsibilities will be guided by the deliverables outlined in Pennsylvania Department of Education’s (PDE) ESL Program technical assistance plan.

Design Intern


Application due: Until position is filled

Location: Camp Hill, Pa.
Status: Part-time, 15-24 hours per week for 8-10 weeks
Starting salary: Unpaid position

Under the guidance of the Communications Manager the Design Intern will assist with basic resource development and design assignments. The internship will be spent learning to support capacity to build and update websites, assisting with various web projects, working on print publications, PowerPoint presentations and html email campaigns. The Design intern may assist with additional projects that involve graphic design, webinar e-learning, print production processes and project management. This internship will be unpaid, with no guarantee of permanent employment at the conclusion of this internship.
