When applying for a position with the CSC/CSIU, all applicants are required to submit the following materials by the stated application deadline:


  • Cover letter (outlining the position title)
  • CSIU Application for Employment (completed in full)
  • Resume
  • Current Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint Clearance) or the FBI CHRI registration ID number


A current Act 34 (Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check) and an Act 151 (Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance) may also be submitted with the application materials stated above. Both the Act 34 and Act 151 clearances are a requirement upon employment with the CSIU.

As required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education pursuant to Act 153 of 2014, background clearances must be current (less than one year old) when beginning work with the CSIU/CSC and renewed every 60 months thereafter.
