The Center for Schools and Communities provides technical assistance for the Education Mentoring Initiative as requested and/or needed through:
- telephone consultation provided to funded sites
- telephone consultation provided to individuals and organizations from the general public that are interested in developing and implementing mentoring programs
- site visits to the funded organization through which the program model is assessed and recommendations for improvements are suggested
- assistance with data collection and analysis to ensure the development of evaluation strategies which measure the positive impact this program has for participating students
- professional development opportunities which focus on the essential elements of an effective mentoring program
- general information and resources on mentoring program implementation.
