MEP Parent Coordinators Online Meeting

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), in partnership with the Center for Schools and Communities (CSC), is offering a one-hour, online meeting on Friday, December 7, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (EST).
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This online meeting is for MEP Parent Coordinators. Student Support Specialists Project Managers and other MEP staff may also benefit from this session. CSC, MEP and PDE staff will also participate.
MEETING TOPICS:
- Migrant Children’s Rights to School, with Len Reiser of the Education Law Center
MEETING OBJECTIVES:
- Participants will learn basic facts about school access, placement and testing.
- Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions.
There is no cost to participate, but registration is required.
All registrants will receive an e-mail confirmation regarding the status of their participation and instructions on how to access the meeting room in order to participate in the event.
Downloading the necessary software to participate in this live, online session is easy and can be obtained for free.
For this online meeting a headset with microphone will be necessary.
