Missouri DESE - MOSIS Data Collection System
June Student Core/ Enrollment and Attendance
Live, Online Training Sessions
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, in partnership with ESP Solutions Group, is pleased to offer three live, two-hour training sessions related to the MOSIS Data Collection System on May the 1st at 1:30 p.m., May 20th at 9:30 a.m., and May 22nd at 1:30 p.m..
IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL REGISTRANTS - It is requested that all trainees both register and attend the session as a group in the same room. This means that if you will be hosting a group of people around a single computer or projecting the session in a conference room only one individual should register as a representative for the entire group. This will save spots for others across Missouri who want to participate in the trainings.
Each two-hour session will be provided by Leigh Ann Grant-Engle, Tom Ogle, Jason Young, Amber Castleman, and Joshua Goodman.
This online training will focus on the June Student Core, June Enrollment and Attendance and June Discipline submissions for the 2008 school year. The following areas will be addressed during the session:
- The purpose of the June Student Core, June Enrollment and Attendance, and June Discipline submissions and how they relate to DESE Core Data
- Review of required data items for the SY2008 June cycle
- Open Questions
- Discussion of issues that districts may be having with their trials. In order to participate in this portion of the training, it is recommended that your district submit a trial before the May 20th or 22nd sessions.
Who should attend? MOSIS contacts, Core Data contacts, Assessment contacts, and Technology representatives.
