The PPT/ELECT Program employs a diverse and well-qualified staff to respond to requests for technical assistance and training. Our staff expertise lie in areas such as parental involvement, job readiness, assisting students in transitioning from school to work, improving academic progress, developing youth leadership and other areas related to the education and support of pregnant and parenting teens as well as after school and youth development programs.

Technical assistance, training and resources are available in the following areas:

• program development, implementation and evaluation
• recruitment and retention strategies
• administrative/organization techniques
• resource identification for students, staff and parents
• referrals to best practices

The following services are also provided to PPT/ELECT grantees:

• annual program monitoring
• bi-annual coordinator meetings
• regional trainings
• data reporting and collection
