Safe Schools Coordinator

The Safe Schools Coordinator has primary responsibility for the development and implementation of statewide projects related to emergency response and crisis management, school safety, school climate, bullying prevention, social and emotional learning, school-based violence prevention, and the coordination of child-serving systems such as children and youth, mental health, juvenile justice, and education. The coordinator will be responsible for technical assistance, site visits, coordination of training, resource development and information gathering to assist schools and other organizations in the provision of quality services to children and families. The coordinator will be responsible for creating and leading cross-program collaborations among all projects under the direction of the Center for Safe Schools director.
