On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, our new online resource Care. Connect. Champion. A Middle School Bullying Prevention Toolkit was launched. The website was created especially to help youth ages 11 through 14 share their voice and engage in bullying prevention.
Developed by the Center for Safe Schools in partnership with the Highmark Foundation, the toolkit provides easy-to-follow steps for activity planning, templates, videos, tips for building support within their school, contest ideas and more for student-led campaigns. A special section for advisors helps adults support these school and afterschool groups and provides school climate assessment tools, best practices, and resources on bullying prevention and interventions.
